European Rally Trophy
European Rally Trophy
The FIA European Rally Trophy (ERT) has been restructured for 2023 with a move away from the previous format of six regional competitions and an end-of-year final to a combined schedule designed to appeal to organisers and competitors alike.
Ahead of each new season, ASNs are invited to nominate a maximum of two events each to appear on a simplified ERT calendar, while competitors can count their best six scores and will not be restricted to how many events they contest.
For 2023 the ERT calendar features 20 events, but the number could increase or decrease in future seasons depending on ASN interest. The ERT Final has been discontinued.
While ASNs can nominate events of their choosing it is intended that they will have the potential to be considered for the FIA European Rally Championship of FIA World Rally Championship in the future.
An overall title and an award for drivers under 27 on January 1 are up for grabs with no restriction on type of eligible car used. However, a coefficient will be applied according to the number of starters in Rally2, Rally3, Rally4, Rally5 and RGT cars. This will give the possibility for any driver to win the title regardless of what category car type they drive.
Titles up for grabs
*FIA European Rally Trophy for Drivers
*FIA European Rally Trophy for Co-Drivers
*FIA Junior ERT Trophy for Drivers
